Ashadu an lā ʾilāha ʾillā-llāh, wahadahu la sharika lah washahadu ana mohammadan abduhu wa rasulloh wa ashado ana alyun waliyo llah.
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, Himself with no other.
And I bear witness that Muhammad is his servant and messager.
And I bear witness that Ali is the vicegerent of Allah.
Today I finally take my Shahada after many years of researching practising. I’m originally from a Christian upbringing. I got into Islam through Rumi poetry sufi path.
I reverted to beautiful peaceful truthful spiritual way of Shia path. And my new Muslim name is Ali. Took my shahada with HIWM JAFA ALI Najm 13/10/22

I became Shia Muslim and changed my name to “Ali”
