Sheikh Abdullah Dohdaweh born in 1966 AD. (1344) in Belgium. He, who was originally from western countries, after a lot of research and Meditate and studies was influenced by the teachings of the Ahlul-Bayt (a.s), became a Shia scholar a because of the passion to Islam and the culture of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s) in 1979 he entered the seminary of Qom to study seminary sciences.

Abdullah Dohdaweh after completing one stage of studying and gaining the primary Islamic foundations and teachings, went to Belgium to promote Islamic matters and along with his activities, he received a bachelor’s degree in in Natural Sciences from one of the Belgian universities.

After several years, he returned to Iran-Qom city, to continue his studies. After completing courses in jurisprudence and Islamic principles and teachings from seminary of Qom, returned to Belgium and started his Islamic activities by opening the “Imam Reza’s (a.s) center and mosque” in Brussels city.

During his activity, he made effective efforts in publishing the culture of Ahlul Bayt (a.s), including “conducting religious ceremonies”, “compilation of several volumes of books (such as the book” الحرية من وجهه النظر الاسلام و الغرب)” and “the training of more than two hundred students.”

He was also involved in the publication of some influential publications in French on jurisprudential and religious matters which is popular among Muslims in Europe.

He has traveled to many European countries for lecturing and publication of the school of Ahlul-Bayt (a.s) and also participated in international conferences.

Sheikh Abdullah introduced hundreds of people during the course of his activities in Belgium and Morocco with the school of Ahlul-Bayt (a.s). His students are currently teaching at Belgian universities and other European countries.

His last journey was to Karbala-Iraq to pilgrimage Imam Hussain (a.s).

Eventually, Abdullah Dohdaweh was martyred by the terrorists on March 12, 2012, while preparing for the Maghrib prayer.

According to reports, several people attacked to the Imam Reza mosque (a.s) on the same date and burned there, which in this fire, Abdullah Dohdaweh was martyred due to suffocation by the fire smoke. The main accused at court sessions said, he wanted to take revenge on the Syrians who were killed by the Shiites.

His body was transferred to his hometown in Tanje (طنجه)-Maghrib, and was buried there. The Belgian court condemned the main accused to only 27 years in prison.

Four children from Shahid Dohdaweh has left.
