Abdul Akram from South Africa became Shia

Abdul Akram was born in South Africa to a Christian family. He left Christianity for religious and political reasons and lived without religion for many years. In the study of history, he came to the history of Islam. The two categories of “piety” and “justice” attracted him to Islam. He says that he did not come to Islam for spiritual reasons, but turned to Islam in order to find the right way of life. The revolutionary aspect of Islam is another attraction of Islam for Abdul Akram.
