Yahya Seymour was raised in Scotland, he converted to Islam in 2002 and to Shi’a Islam in 2004. He has been studying in the Hawza since 2006. Currently he is based in the Holy City of Karbala, where he continues to pursue his studies, his interests are primarily based in the area of Theology, Hadith and in particular the study of Imamah.
