A 20-Member Family Converts to Islam after Renouncing Bahá’ism

Farsan – The Friday Prayer Leader of Farsan – Iran announced the return of 20 members of a Bahá’í family to the religion of Islam.

Twenty members of a Bahá’í family in Farsan County, who had previously inclined toward the Bahá’í faith, officially declared their renunciation of this sect by visiting the office of the Farsan Friday Prayer Leader and, by reciting the Shahadatayn, expressed their commitment to Islam.

The Friday Prayer Leader of Farsan, emphasizing the vigilance of the people against the infiltration of enemies of religion, added: People should know that the enemies of Islam may even infiltrate families, but the courageous act of this family shows that returning to the path of truth is always possible and valuable.

He continued: These dear individuals, by expressing disgust toward the Bahá’í sect, honored the message of Fatimiyyah and demonstrated their loyalty to Islamic teachings. The religious community has the duty to support the correct divine path and to make future generations aware of the dangers of misguided sects.

Hojjatoleslam Malekpour emphasized in conclusion: The recitation of the Shahadatayn by this family is a clear example of returning to the authentic religion of Islam, and we hope this act will inspire others who have strayed from the path of truth.
