Hayat al-Qolub is a Persian book by Mohammad Baqer Majlisi (died 1110 AD), a Shiite scholar of the 11th and 12th centuries. This book includes the story of the divine prophets, the history of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Shia’s Imams (AS). In this book, Majlesi has addressed the public prophecy, immediate caliphate of Imam Ali (a.s), the necessity of imam’s appointment and the purity. Hayat al-Qalub is written in a narrative and rational way using the traditions.
