Miracle of Fatima (s.a) in regards to her name “Zahra”

Aban ibn Taghlub said to Imam Sadiq (as), ‘O son of Rasool-Allah! Why was Al-Zahra named as ‘Al-Zahra’?’ So, he said: ‘Because she glowed with the Light, for Amir Al Momineen, three times during the day. Her face glowed at the time of the Dawn Prayer, and the people would in their beds, so that whiteness of that Light would enter into their chambers at Al-Medina, and enlighten their walls. So, they would be astounded from that, and they would come to the Prophet to ask him about what they had observed, and he would send them to the House of Fatima. So, they would come to her house, and they would see her seated in her Prayer Niche, Praying, and the Light shining from her Prayer Niche, from her face. So, they would come to know that, that which they saw was from the Light of Fatima.

So, when it would be the middle of the day, and she would make arrangements for the Prayer, her face would glow with the yellow (Light). So, the yellowness would enter into the chambers of the people, so their clothes and their colours would turn yellow. So, they would come to the Prophetto ask him about what they had observed. So, he would send them to the house of Fatima. So, they would see her standing in her Prayer Niche, and Light glowing from her face, with the yellowness. So, they would know that, that which they saw was from the Light of her face’.

So, when it would be the end of the day, and the sun would set, the face of Fatima would turn red. So, her face would shine with the redness in happiness and gratitude for Allah Mighty and Majestic. So, the redness from her face would enter into the chamber of the people and turn their walls red. So, they would be astounded from that, and they would come to the Prophet and ask him about that. So, he would send them to the House of Fatima, and they would see her to be seated, Glorifying Allah and Extolling Him and the Light from her face glowing with the redness. So, they would know that, that which they saw, was from the Light of the face of Fatima.

Thus, that Light did not cease to be in her face until she was Blessed with Al-Hussain. So, it has been transferred into our faces until the Day of Judgement, in the Imams from us, the People of the Household’.
